Barehoof Trim Workshop
Day One
9 am - 5 pm (approx.)

Step-by-Step DEMONSTRATION TRIM of cadaver hoof (Carola) and how to use an angle plexi (will be supplied, where ever possible, otherwise template will be given)
* Participants will trim hoof specimens
Day Three
9 am - 5 pm (approx.)
* Trimming practise (hoof specimens)
* Dissections
* Discussions
If applicable, participants will have a chance to trim their own horses under supervision and will be shown how to maintain a physiological correct trim on their own horses as required. (Pre bookings must be made and horses must be suitable)

We will be working with German made F.Dick hoof knives (Ascot or Gripmaster) and Bellota or Safe edge rasps.

This seminar will give you a thourough introduction into the lifestyle philosophies of successful "barefoot-ing" and will give you a basic understanding of the mechanics of the hoof and its structures. This day is called "WHAT EVERY HORSEOWNER SHOULD KNOW" . No matter if you want to go the barehoof path or keep shoeing your horse, you will look at your horse (and his hooves) with more understanding. This understanding will help you to keep your horse to stay healthy and happier for longer .
